Asap Cargo in Cheshire has become the latest transport firm to join the Palletways network.
The company was founded 15 years ago and has a headquarters in Larne, Northern Ireland along with English depots in Middlewich and Swindon. Asap Cargo boasts a fleet of 16 collection and delivery vehicles, employs 40 office staff and 18 drivers. They are specialists in the GB to NI/ROI market with an inhouse customs team.
Chris Gilbert, commercial manager at Asap Cargo, said: “Joining the Palletways network means we’ll be able to offer additional services which will help us grow our customer base. While we’re well known in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, we’re looking forward to expanding awareness of our services across England, which I’m confident we’ll be able to do swiftly thanks to the support of the most successful pallet network behind us. Palletways’ IT function along with its service excellence are clear differentiators within the industry and as such, joining the network will offer great value to our business.”
Warwick Trimble, network director for Palletways UK, added: “We’re pleased Asap Cargo, a well-established, respected company that delivers an exceptionally high-quality service, has become part of our ever-growing membership. It’s through working with valued partners like Asap Cargo that will see us continue to increase our coverage and reach in the north of the UK and into Ireland.”
