A leading UK transport and third-party logistics specialist with operations in Yorkshire, Lancashire and the West Midlands, has seen year-on-year growth starting the year.

Walkers Transport Group, a member of Palletways, transported 97,623 pallets in January, up 4,000 year-on-year, and management say such strong volumes is an encouraging sign of business growth.

Formed in 1979 as a road haulage company, Walkers Transport Group has grown to become one of the UK’s leading 3PL specialists that provides UK and European distribution from a single pallet to a full-load and encompasses in excess of 200,000 sq ft of dedicated warehousing space for its customer base.
