Palletways Bristol has been awarded a spicy new contract by Bart Ingredients Ltd, which sees the haulier take responsibility for all the manufacturer’s palletised freight distribution in the UK.

Palletways Bristol, which operates across the South West of England, becomes Bart Ingredients’ freight partner after a competitive tender, and will handle approximately 5,000 pallets a year delivering premium brand Bart and retailer-branded ingredients across the UK, primarily into large distribution centres.

Established in Bristol in 1963, Bart Ingredients has been sourcing, selecting and sharing premium quality herbs, spices and seasonings from around the world for nearly 60 years. It specialises in the creation of over 500 cooks’ ingredients including herbs, spices, seasonings, home-baking, sauces and pastes. Earlier this year, Bart Ingredients moved its operation from Bedminster, where it had been since 1983, to a brand new, purpose-built facility in Severn Beach.
