Palletways Milton Keynes are revving up to help Two Daves Racing motorcycle race team lap the competition in the upcoming 2023 Darley Moor Racing Club and NG Road Racing championships.

Founded in 1995, Two Daves Racing is a multi-generation, family-run team. Inspired by his dad’s love for motorbikes, lead rider, David Carson Junior, entered his first tournament at the age of 15, when he rode a 1989 Yamaha TZR125 which saw him crowned Best 125 in the Junior Roadracing Association.

Since then, David has been racing motorcycles across the country and has won a spot on the end-of-season podium more than 20 times in many British racing championships. His family are always close by at the trackside to offer support – David Senior can often be seen in the pit helping to refuel and carry out repairs, wife Lorna helps out with catering and his young daughters, Kate and Lucy, are his biggest supporters, cheering him on as he speeds past.

When Terry Fouracre, General Manager at Palletways Milton Keynes, learnt that his favourite team Two Daves Racing announced they were entering the upcoming 2023 season, he was quick off the brakes to offer support.

David said: “Palletways has kindly sponsored our tyres for the upcoming season which means we’ll get a fresh set for every round of the championships, whilst providing financial help towards bike rebuilds and maintenance to give us the edge over our competitors.

“I never knew motor racing would be so addictive and the ongoing support from Palletways will allow me to continue chasing my dreams, enter more club championships and hopefully win more competitions. I hope this season will be my best yet.”

Terry added: “I love motorcycle racing and I’m almost as addicted to it as David. Palletways’ sponsorship is a great opportunity to recognise and celebrate David’s hard work and success in making a small family-run team hold their own in the championships. We will be on the side-lines rooting for him at Darley Moor and throughout the season.”

Two Daves Racing’s first race will kick off on Saturday 25th March at the Darley Moor Test Day and round one of the championships. From there Two Daves will compete in the NG Road Racings at Castle Combe, Donington Park, Pembrey and Anglesey Coastal.
