Transport Manager - EFS Global
As the Transport Manager your involvement will also include management of vehicle maintenance, driver and vehicle compliance and health & safety.
This role is based at EFS Global, Biggar Road Industrial Estate, Cleland, Motherwell, ML1 5PB
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and updating the maintenance plan for all of vehicles within our fleet
- Monitor and manage Taco Reports and coach drivers with regards to driving hours, regulations and compliance
- Management of in-house vehicle inspections
- Control over the vehicle repairs budget, and meet with suppliers to continuously review.
- Monitor health and safety compliance for the vehicles and the yard
- Ensure loading standards are met with a focus on safety and security
- Deal with HR aspects such as disciplinary investigations and accident investigations
Requirements:
- CPC National qualification is required
- Proven experience in Transport Management
- Proven experience in Transport/Fleet Compliance
- Understanding of legislation – weights and measurements and working hours.
