Regional Contract Manager - Darcica Logistics

Darica Logistics is looking for a Regional Contract Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our contracts across both sites for our main client. Your primary responsibilities will include: liaising with the client to maintain high levels of satisfaction, overseeing the financial aspects of the contracts, and ensuring the fleet's roadworthiness. Your ability to lead and motivate your team will be crucial in achieving and exceeding performance targets.

This role is based at Darcica Logistics, Reading/Swindon

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the client to understand their needs and expectations, ensuring contract deliverables are met or exceeded.
  • Oversee the financial aspects of the contracts, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitor and maintain the roadworthiness of the fleet, coordinating with maintenance teams for timely repairs and servicing.
  • Lead and inspire the team to consistently achieve performance targets and exceed expectations.
  • Proactively identify and address operational challenges, implementing effective solutions to optimize efficiency.
  • Represent the company at industry events, networking, and building strategic relationships.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a managerial role within the transport or logistics industry.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and drive profitability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a passion for delivering excellence.
  • Willingness to travel between sites and attend industry events as required.

Compensation:

  • Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 dependent on experience
  • Company vehicle provided
  • Bonuses based on performance
